Stockdale Land is developing further sites along the M40 corridor at its Banbury Business Park between junctions 11 and 12.
Charter Community Housing Association has recently moved into a 14,500 sq ft headquarters building on an adjacent site to the County Ambulance Trust, which has relocated its central control and services centre to the business park where Vodafone already occupies two large office buildings.
“The M40 Corridor has fewer opportunities close to the motorway than the M42/M6, so good sites are less plentiful,” said John Liggins of Stockdale Land.
“At Banbury Business Park we will be developing a further eight acres with complete flexibility of tenure and specification, enabling occupiers to take full advantage of this attractive location. We have obtained planning consent for eight small B1/B2 units totalling approximately 25,000 sq ft which we intend to commence shortly, and 25 per cent of these are already under offer.”
Agent for the next phase of the Park are Lambert Smith Hampton and Liggins Thomas.
Elsewhere, Stockdale is working with Assura Property to provide a new 50,000 sq ft medical centre in Banbury at South Bar House.
Stockdale is also working in partnership with Sainsbury’s to develop a major shopping centre in Bicester town centre, including a multiplex cinema, leisure units and 100,000 sq ft of retail together with a supermarket.
